Otherwised unnamed, the Old Baroness of Nartok was the wife of the Old Baron and the mother of Worren, giving birth on the same night that Kylene, the Old Baron's mistress, gave birth to Caidin. Because Worren was deformed, the Old Baron switched records of their parentage and poisoned both Kylene and the Old Baroness to conceal this deception.[1]
