Gadof Blinsky is a NPC from the 5th Edition module Curse of Strahd. He is a toy maker that lives in Vallaki with his pet monkey named Piccolo, a gift from Rictavio. Gadof Blinksy is the owner and operator of Blinsky Toys.[1]
Relationships
Gadof Blinsky is friends with Rictavio (who was also his only paying customer), who is the one who gave Piccolo to Gadof. Gadof is employed by Baron Vargas Vallakovich to make festival decorations for the many celebrations produced by the town. However, the rest of the Vallakians find Gadof's taste for the macabre distasteful and avoid him. To make matters worse, Izek Strazni has bullied Gadof into making doll effigies of Ireena Kolyana for no payment. Subsequently, Gadof has fallen into despair.[1]
In Curse of Strahd
In CoS, Gadof may ask the player characters to retrieve a legendary clockwork man created by Fritz von Weerg supposedly located somewhere in Castle Ravenloft.[1] Little does he know this is the malicious construct Pidlwick II.
