Roland is a young, Richemuloise bard, dandy, and adventurer who owns the Seven League Boots. This magic item allows movement over large distances in an instant. However, the boots (which cannot be removed) inflict curse that makes his perception of the people and environment that surround him such that they seem to move in slow motion, greatly aggravating him and eating away at his patience.[1]
