Runold is a mature vampire who was injured by werewolves on the border between Borca and Richemulot. He called for assistance from Alexi, but was refused. Days later, he captured and turned the boy, changing him into one of the undead, and used him to extort dominance over the Vistani caravan led by Madam Rosa, Alexi's grandmother.[1]
Nira Delamane, a vampyre, is hunting Runold to claim his death as a rite of passage.[2]
