Terlarm (b. 670 BC[1]) is a minor character from the novel Knight of the Black Rose and briefly mentioned in the module When Black Roses Blooml. He is an outlander priest of Gilean trapped in Barovia Village. The sole survivor of his adventuring party, Terlarm drinks his sorrows away in the Blood o' the Vine Inn.
History
Terlarm was an outlander cleric of Gilean originally from Krynn. He was part of a small band of clerics and mages that all served Gilean. They all hailed from Palanthas. In 690 BC, Terlarm and his companions became ensnared by the Mists and brought to Barovia Village. Eventually they discovered rumors of the Luna River Portal and attempted to use it to return home. However, the Watcher of the Gate killed three of Terlarm's companions (Keth, Bast (of Palanthas), and Fingelin). Terlarm and his sole remaining associate, Voldra subsequently retreated. Voldra was later claimed by Castle Ravenloft. Terlarm presumed he was deceased.[2]
