Benign relative to other dread cloakers, resplendent cloakers "eat" physical damage of their host by healing them. However, possession of a resplendent cloaker is a double edged sword, for they are harmed by healing spells cast upon the host and drain hit points from their hosts to compensate for the damage they take.
