Kole Pellman is a nonplayer character and the antagonist from the Children of the Night: Ghosts module A Matter of Trust Kole Pellman is Wilhelm Pellman's older brother. He is also the murderer of Wilhelm's best friend, Mark.[1]
Background
Kole was the son of a wealthy landowner named Karl Pellman. Kole was the town bully with a terrible temper. His temper got the best of him one day, when he attacked and killed a boy named Mark. His younger brother witnessed this event and ran off, only to be killed by a tragic freak accident. His younger sibling returned as a ghost.[1]
In A Matter of Trust
In this module, Kole attempts to keep his involvement a secret in Mark and Wilhelm's deaths, though as a 0-Level Character, he presents little to no threat to even parties of first level characters. With the help of the player characters, Wilhelm may able to finger Kole as Mark's murderer. If this happens, Kole is disinherited by his father, and becomes indentured to Mark's family as a farm worker for 10 years. If the game master wishes this adventure to have some consequence in the future, Mark might begin stalking the characters to somehow find his revenge.[2]
