Dread crafted things and creatures are not result of magic. They are the result of dark desire and the assistance of the Dark Powers. They include magic items, constructs, and golems that their creator does not have the magic competence to create or, should he or she have such competence, does spend the proper time and money creating. Artifacts and relics, and cursed items generally that are crafted in the Land of Mists should, save perhaps exceptionally, be considered to have been dread crafted.
