The Great Cemetery is found in Il Aluk. It remains to this day the responsibility, or at very least the territory, of the Undertaker of Il Aluk. Marasyk Huzak, transformed by the Requiem into a necropolitan skeleton, still patrols its grounds and puts to rest corporeal undead that cross his path.[1] 
Prior to 750 BC, the Great Cemetery was a constant target of resurrectionists. Grumman Knox, commissioned by the previous undertaker to take up the fight against these desecrators of graves, was murdered by a pair of them in 697 BC.[2] 
The Great Cemetery has long played host to more than a few undead, with ghouls counting prominently among them. Grave ooze has also posed something of a problem.[3]
