Osiris is the Akiri god of rebirth and plants. He is the brother and husband of Isis, the father of Horus, and the brother of Set. Set betrayed and murdered Osiris, but Isis and Nephythys restored his existence. Horus sought to avenge him against Set, but Horus failed.[1]
Osiris is one of three deities of particular importance to the Amber Wastes, as he is said to have dominance over the healing powers of the oases. His clergy act as custodians and guardians of the dead.[2] The Green Hand is one particularly special order of his church.[3]
