A minor character from the novel Tower of Doom, Irsyla[1] was the midwife at birth of Baron Caidin and Wort. She is the grandmother of Lillen and lived in Nartok.
History
Irsyla worked as a midwife in Nartok in the 7th century BC in Nartok. On the night of Wort and Caidin's birth, tthe Old Baron's guards took her from her home and brought her to help with the births of the two children by different mothers. Because Caidin was the bastard but Wort was deformed, the Old Baron switched records of their birth mothers and then poisoned both his wife and his mistress to cover up the secret.
