Arawn is an death god who is a member of the Forfarian Pantheon. He is primarily worshiped by the goblyns of Forlorn, though he has no clerics among them. Their understanding of Arawn's dogma makes the use of reincarnation and resurrection taboo[1][2], though with a noticeable lack of divine magic, this may make little difference. The goblyns reverence of Arawn consists through the spilling of blood, either through shedding the blood of others or leaping to their doom at the hands of their foes.[2]
The Maw of Arawn is thought by the Forfarian goblyns to be his lair.[3] They known his underground realm as Annwn, the Isles of the Cursed, a place the goblyns believe reachable via the Maw.[2]
In Tepest, Arawn is known but not worshiped, only appeased once in a while with sacrifices to keep his creatures at bay.[4] Arawn also receives seldom mentioned among the humans of Forlorn, for he is feared rather than venerated[5]. The druids acknowledge him as the Forfarian deity of death and the underworld, but he is still viewed only as a figure of fear and horror.[2]
