MacFarn of MacFarn was the aginng chieftain of Clan MacFarn on the brink of death, but he had no direct heir. He left it to [[[Lady Iolan]] to determine which of the children of his brother Alain MacFarn get the title. The choice was between Duncan MacFarn or Donal MacFarn.[1]
