Kestrel is a hag[1] who plots to get revenge on several adventurers (including several witches whom venerate Hala) and the town of Waywand for the death of her mother and grandmother- both members of her coven. Kestral also plans for the resurrection of her two dead ancestors, but she must sacrifice the soul of a spellcaster in order to brink them back from death.
Kestrel has the services of six Darkonian ogres whom she keeps in the nearby wilderness. She poses as Goodwife Williams and the wife of local farmer Michael Williams. Michael his no victim; he willingly participates in Kestrel's schemes. However, he has no extraordinary skills, and Kestrel intends on making a meal of him once he has outlived his usefulness.
