General Martin José Maconda is the temporal leader and darklord of Maconda. He led a rebellion against the Aragora royalists and eventually got them expelled or massacred, partially due to a foul pact he made with the Warlock of the Peak, who was said to grant wishes but at a fell price. However, it only took him a few months to surpass the regime he overthrew in oppressiveness and brutality. General Martin is widely known for his horrible temper.[1]

General Martin's greatest enemy was Don Santiago de Quijada Y Alvarez, the leader of the royalist forces. Santiago imprisoned Martin's wife Isabel de Maconda and was ultimately responsible for her death.[2]

Martin's has blessed with the physical ability scores of the anaconda. However, been turned into maledictive weresnake (wereanaconda), who must transform to feed on a regular basis. He despises this form. The memories of his wife eat away at Martin's soul, making him reach out for appreciation and admiration from others, only to push them away with his wrathful and petty nature.[3]
