Nikolai Serres is one of the two darklords of Tragathos. He was once a deformed outcast, but she made a pact with some unknown vile entity for an ideal level of attractiveness and a great slowing in the aging process. All she need do is drain others of their life energy three times per month. He, along with the other darklord Kalliope Droniketa, depopulated their entire home city of Tragos, either directly through their life draining or indirectly through the ghosts of those they murdered. Those who were not killed abandoned Tragos by the droves. Kalliope and Nikolai were never blamed for the mysterious deaths, for they were too beautiful to be guilty.[1]
Kalliope and Nikolai are essentially selfish, mostly beyond the capacity for altruism. They exist only to maintain and enjoy the benefits of their beauty. They are not friends and shun each other's company, save to gather more victims for their life draining attacks.[2]
Both Kalliope and Niklai are competent at shapechanging; they may transform into any attractive humanoid.[3] They both dwell in the Pinnacle.[2]
