[Lars Viggsen]], sailor and captain of the Óndskapur, discovered Todstein in 640 BC. He made a single trip back there once a year for the next four years[1], meeting his doom in 644 BC. Lars and his crew are believed to have frozen to death on that cold isle,[2] following his ship wrecking on an iceberg.[3]
If the Doom of the Óndskapur dread possibility is in play, Lars' obsession may have ultimately have ultimately led to his crew becoming wraiths and he a spectre.[3]
