Nanette LaLaurie was one of the LeLaurie Family and as such, lived on the Old Cypress plantation. She was married to Baptise LaLaurie and had two daughters, Nadine LaLaurie and Verette LaLaurie. Nanette and her daughters were poisoned by the family maid, Alvina. In the Ghosts of Old Cypress dread possibility, he, along with his family and the maid, linger on as ghosts even as the Old Cypress stands abandoned by the living.[1]
