A fortress in Deva, a city in Transylvania constructed by Janos Hunyady. It gains its name from the volcanic hill it rests upon- in folklore the creation of a djinn. It was destroyed in 1849 by a mysterious explosion that local lore attributes to a spirit of a person entrapped in one of the walls. In truth, the explosion was the work of one of the minions of the Red Death to wipe out the Company of the Dance.^[1]
