To this end, he put many so-called infidels to death in the hope of "earning" this gift, even to the point of recklessly putting himself in jeopardy. A sniper crept up on him and assassinated him with bow and arrow. Diamabel unexpectedly arose from the wound, to find his wish granted by day, but by night he was a horrible abomination. He had become the darklord of Pharazia.[1] The year was 590 BC.[2]
