Evil Artifact, [[The Azure Shard]], one of the [[Shards of Light]], has manipulated adventurers into destroying the other two ([[The Crimson Shard]] and [[The Emerald Shard]]), thus becoming [[The Shard of Darkness]]. [[King Gregor Ravinia]] led a land devoted to [[Havernus, Lord of the Harvest]]. When the king began withholding the sacrifices to the harvest god, rather than distributing them to the people, the god blighted his realm. The king found the Shard of Darkness, now an onyx color, and it tried to possess him, but failed.
