Anna Krezkova is an NPC from the 5th Edition module Curse of Strahd. She is the wife of Dmitri Krezkov, burgomaster of Krezk. Together they had four children, whom are now all deceased. Ilya, died just recently. Due to Anna and Dimitri's age, it seems like their bloodline will die with them[1]
In absence of a priest, Anna presides over births (though she is not necessarily a midwife) and acts as a spiritual counselor of sorts.[2]
In Curse of Strahd
In this module, Burgomaster tries to remain neutral and not get involved with the player characters, figuring they have some realtionship (whether friendly or antagonistic) with Strahd. This changes if they do something to help the town, in which case he is required by oath to show them gratitude.[1]
In one event, The Abbot may approach and ask Dmitri and Annah to let him raise Ilya from the dead. If this happens, then the Abbot will use the leverage gained from this to push Dmitri and Annah into finding a bridal gown for Vasilka. To resolve this, Annah takes several guards and goes to Vallaki. Without help from the player characters, she never returns.[3]
