A salient ability of the Walking Dead most often associated with the Restless Dead. Creatures with this special ability can breathe a cone of pestilence that acts as a contagion spell or exude it as an aura. Creatures that fail their saving throw by a number equaling or exceeding 10 perish instantly, reanimated as Obedient Dead under the control of the creature with this ability.[1]
