Leoni claims that he was ferreted away by his grandmother before Ivana could poison him like his father. To back him his claim, Eduardo has both documentation and a physical resemblance to Ivana. Eduardo's claims are merely but a deception, his documentation the result of his own skills at forgery and the physical resemblance a product of a Limited Wish cast by his Sithican elf mistress (who is a wizard). In actuality, Bentino Leoni (now deceased) is Eduardo's true father. Eduardo was was not born until eight years following Abelardo's demise, which would make Eduardo's birth in 717 BC.[2] Eduardo is going through with his fraud merely because he is greedy. Eduardo gained a not insignificant amount of money from his first wife (whom he murdered), but Eduardo and his elven lover covet even more riches.
