Father Lambrecht Raes

Father Lambrecht is a Black Crusade character. A Frenchman and Catholic priest, Father Lambrecht was one of the pilgrims sent by the pope to Jerusalem. He wielded a mace if forced to defend himself, something which came up as he investigated and seemingly sought to end a plague that seemed to afflict both the invading crusaders, defending Saracen warriors, and even innocent peasant with a violent, giggling madness. He enlisted the aid of Diederic de Wyndt in his quest after the latter rescued him. In reality, he simply sought to gather the remains of the Laginate Grimoire and was willing to sacrifice Diederic's life as well as those of his fellow Crusaders, or even murder- in the case of Baron Joris van den Felle, to get what he wanted.
