The Empyrean Basilica, also called the Holy Basilica, is the seat of spiritual authority for the Empyrean Church of Malosia. It consists of a huge temple complex with tens of adjacent, connected buildings, built upon Scions Mount in the center of Caercaelum. Though it is within the capital of Malosia, the Basilica itself holds a greater number of people than many towns. A magnificent, almost impossibly large dome of gold rises above the center signifying the glorious sun of the faith's God. Libraries, workshops, shops, dormitories, and other facilities for the benefit of the priesthood are held inside the exterior buildings of the complex.[1]
