Jarath was a Barovian guard of Castle Ravenloft as of 351 BC. When Azalin Rex traveled back in time to assassinate Strahd before he could become a vampire, Jarath encountered the corpse possessed by Azalin and killed it. He later notified Commander Alek Gwilym of this event, though Jarath hardly understood what happened.^[1] Jarath is probably long deceased, either killed at the wedding of Sergei and Tatyana or died of old age.
