Rothbart, the owl-headed wizard,is the darklord of a domain of forests. With a strange predilection for birds and polymorph magic, Rothbart takes a sadistic joy on bringing woe to the humanity he so hates. He has afflicted several strange bird related curses on various people. His minions including Odil, his daughter, as well as ravens, owls, and owlbears.[1]
Rothbart appears to be based upon Von Rothbart from the ballet of Swan Lake.
