This distinctive dagger is the calling card of the assassin organization it gets its name from, the Ba'al Verzi. Despite the discrete nature of the assassin's methods and workings, the dagger is a well known symbol of an otherwise faceless organization.
The weapon is notable for it's two main aesthetics. First is the coloration of it's lacquered hilt, featuring the colors of red, black, and gold. The colors symbolize the blood they spill, the darkness of death, and the money they exchange for their skills. Second is the sheath of the dagger, which is made using the tanned skin of the dagger's first victim.
