Ivan Randovich was the burgomaster of Orașnou and a member of its ruling council. Openly contemptuous and greedy, Invan Randovich nonetheless kept several sins hidden away from the public eye. He was secretly the Third Obsession, one of the elite agents of the witch Esmae Amarantha. Ivan embezzled some of the tax inflow, yet somehow he seemed to have scored the support of Strahd. However, in the end Ivan bit off more than he could chew when he betrayed some adventurers he had charged with rescuing at artifact from the Amber Temple. He ambushed them as they emerged with the artifact, only to meet his doom instead.
