Each of the wizards became fixated on a different obsession, and each dogmatically insisted their plan of imprisoning the vestiges was the right one. Eventually Magister Krausenatti killed them all using poison. Most of the wizards reanimated as ghosts, though Dr. Keletifold rose as a corporeal undead.[1]
With a specialty in warding magic, Dr. Keletifold supervised the construction of the seals and abjuration magic on the lowest level. Only through his destruction was access to the vault that held the vestiges possible. Ivan Randovich wished to secure access for his master, Esmae Amarantha. He seduced one of the ghostly wizards and manipulated that person into getting close to and destroying Dr. Keletifold. Thereby, Esmae was able to get inside and merge with the Evening Glory.[2]
