Murdoc the Misanthrope's hatred for his fellow humans was so strong he performed all manner of tasks to see it destroyed, from arson and plague to calling upon his armies of undead and fiends. Now he has a domain with no native humans, inhabited only by monsters, although portals lead to other realms for the monsters to victimize. The monsters struggle against each other for territory and power, yet they all loathe Murdoc for his physical humanity but fear him because he is more inhuman than them. He ultimately wishes to see the monsters destroyed, but such a goal is much more difficult than killing normal humanoids.[1]
