A werebadger is a werebeast phenotype based on a dire badger[1]. They are particularly common among dwarves, with gnomes, goblins, orcs and various races that live in subterranean locations less likely. Elves, humans, and other races that dwell above ground are even less likely to become werebadgers[1].
Werebadgers often display lazy personalities, and even dwarf werebadgers usually eschew working on metal or stone[1]. However, when provoked, werebadgers may go berserk, flying into horrific battle frenzies. Pursued occupations usually reflect their proclivities for brief bouts of anger.[1].
