Hugo was a house servant at Eldron Manor working under the supervision of estate steward Señor Hector Ramirez for Lord Eowyn Theone. Hugo demonstrated considerable loyalty to both. He suffered a degree of mental impairment due to brain damage he suffered at birth[1].
Hugo's father was Calvis, a guard of Eldron Manor that was murdered by Basil, leaving Senor Ramirez the only one to look after Hugo.[2]
