	The practice of "burying" sailors, and others who have died aboard ship, at sea, whether with or without proper rites, makes of the sea a [[grave]]. Those who are sent off without proper rites risk returning from the grave, particularly as [[incorporeal undead]] such as [[geists]] and [[ghosts]]. Those rare individuals who return as [[corporeal undead]] take the shape of [[lacedons]], [[sea zombies]], or even [[jolly rogers]].
