The Hestdrikker (horse-drinker) is mistakenly thought to be a fey. By night it feeds on the blood of horses sickening or even killing them. In fact the creature is a strain of diseased, outcast jermlaine, driven feral and blood-thirsty by the sickness in their veins. Worse yet, the sickness can be transferred to the horses the jermlaine feed from, making them mad and dangerous.
