It may be supposed that he was also a necromancer. Lending some support to this speculation is the fact that he remained in his post for at least 50 years.
For in 697 BC he is described as being the chief undertaker of the city and as leading its fight against a tide of resurrectionists. Whether he escaped or survived the the Requiem is unknown.
