A former road no longer joins the places that it once did. This may be for various reasons. The road may be severed as with the Timori Road. It may be rendered impassable or useless as with the Road to Arak. Physical traces of the road may well still exist and these may well even still be used. A road that is temporary closed, such as the Old Svalich Road during the winter, is not a former road.
