Joan Secousse was born in 679 BC, probably in Mordent or Borca. In years prior to 708 BC, she became an anchorite and possibly an wandering anchorite. In 708 BC, while exploring Port-a-Lucine, she discovered the abandoned Ste. Mere des Larmes cathedral. It proved to be an ancient temple of Ezra. Based upon teachings recovered fromt its vaults, she penned in 709 BC the Third Book of Ezra and became the bastion of the Dementlieuse Sect.
