Maurice d'Ysmaul (744-796) was the fourth child of Ultime d'Ysmaul, and his only child with Seauchoureaux.
Maurice was Ultime's favorite child; even before 796 BC, Ultime stipulated in his will that Maurice was to inherit the Amber Mansion. After Maurice's death, this inheritance was passed to his children, and has remained in Maurice's branch of family ever since.
