Jozell was once the princess of the Powrie and lieutenant in commanding the Arak under Prince Loht[1]. She helped Loht stake Tristessa and her child to the above ground of Arak, thereby leaving them to slow, grueling death as the sun rose This act is the only known violation of the Law of Arak, that no arak shall ever kill another arak, in their people's 5,000 year history. Although Loht was the primary insitigator, Jozell took the fall exclusively[2]. She was punished by the Shunning exile from Arak society, doomed to never interact with another of her Arak kindred. Such a fate renders most Arak insane.[3]
