Ivlis River

The Ivlis River reaches up across Nova Vaasa from Arbora in the south to Bergovitsa in central western Nova Vaasa, turns west into Barovia, climbs the Balinoks in a valley shared with the Old Svalich Road, skirts the Village of Barovia, mounts spectularly the Tser Falls, and eventually reaches Mount Ghakis, its source. The tributaries of the Ivlis are the Ulvand River from the eastern flanks of the Balinoks of south of the Old Svalich Road, and the Volgis River from the nothingness of the Shadow Rift, which is to say that it has its phantom headwaters in the vanished land of Markovia. The Ivlis is joined from the south by the Ulvand just within the the frontier of Nova Vaasa. It is subsequent joined from the north by the Volgis River.

The South Dnar drains into the Nocturnal Sea just north of Egertus at Guldstrand Beach via the Katsmund Canyon. The South Dnar is navigable, with difficulty owing to the swiftness of its current, by small ships between Kantora and the sea, with cargos being transferred to and from larger vessels at the beach.
