An animator is an evil spirit that feeds off of powerful emotions, more specifically negative emotions, by inhabitant inanimate objects and using these objects to cause strife. Often an animator will focus its attention on one particular person (its "ward") and follow that victim around, protecting him or her but also tormenting the poor soul and feeding on the individual's fear and dread.
