Blackblade (an assumed name, not his real name) is a cambion who was drawn into Ravenloft after massacring half the population of the village that abandoned him and left him to die due to his fiendish heritage. Although it galls him that he couldn't finish the job, he has made due by becoming a professional assassin for hire in Ravenloft. Blackblade casts spells as a 6th level wizard and has thief skills beyond those of a normal cambion.[1]
