Unlike the normal cloakers found on the Material Plane, the dread cloakers are not purely predators but rather parasites. Attaching to the neck of a host much like a normal but cursed cloak, a dread cloaker use its host to fulfill their own sustenance with little care or regard for what the host wants.[1]
