The Spirit of Bleak House is the spirit of Richten Haus that was (inadvertantly) awakened by Madame Radanavich taking control of the manor and becoming darklord. Although Radanavich can exert a degree of influence on it to create several different supernatural manifestations, it acts independently of her will. For example, the daylight spirits are an expression of its own mysterious and turbulent will.[1]
