A century following the corruption of the original inhabitants, a [[mad]] vampire came to the Cathedral. Driven more by [[dark desire]] than reason, he has conducted several blasphemous experiments, including a [[werebat]] [[zombie]] that has somehow managed to maintain its intelligence. The young [[paladin]] [[Thoris Tregart]] south to avenge his [[murdered]] father, but he himself was [[murdered]]. Ultimately failing at his quest, Thoris now wanders the Cathedral as a [[radiant spirit]], making it an eve more horrible place.
