A scarecrow animated as a magical construct is classified as type weaker [[golem[[. They may be created by priests of sufficient experience and power or by using special magical manuals.[1] This type of scarecrow has a powerful gaze that can fascinate those nearby, rendering them helpless while the scarecrow fulfills its mission.[2]. As a nonintelligent construct, the scarecrow can obey the briefest of orders.[2] Alternatively, a scarecrow can be created to track down and kill a specific victim, which it does so unerringly until it or its target is destroyed.[1]
If the scarecrow's creator perishes, it usually falls apart. However, there is a small chance the mindless scarecrow will become a Conscious Scarecrow with an Evil alignment and a hatred towards humanity.[2]
