Dargaard Keep was the fortress of Lord Soth back on Krynn. It was set ablaze and destroyed during the Cataclysm, a disaster Soth could have prevented. He left Isolde Denissa, his wife and their son Peradur, but Soth did not escape the flames himself nor the punishment that would follow. Isolde cursed Soth to live a lifetime for every one lost during the Cataclysm.[1]

During the Hour of Screaming Shadows, a similar disaster occured with Nordragard, and once again, Soth failed to prevent it, repeating what had happened in the past.[2]
