Captain Dandret is a captain of one of Invidia's press gangs. He is the one responsible for "discovering" Gesmas Malaturno and bringing him to the attention of Invidian authorities (specifically, the Inquest. Captain Dandret ordered the execution of Sergeant Faynard for his insubordination regarding how to deal with Gesmas.[1]
